I didn't inject myself, but my grandma had HEP C and I had to give her her injections. (similar to an insulin injection... done same way with same sized needle, but less often)
It wasn't too bad. as for injecting myself~ I've done my own piercings (multiple ones) and handled it fine. I've got to think that a simple injection would be easier than a full piercing. :)
Good luck and a HH 9 months!
Good job! Its well worth it! Good Luck and have a great *9 months
wel done! you'll be a pro before you know it
Ladies ive done it!! i used emla cream that i got from Dr that numbs the skin, it made it easier for me to inject. Thank god i can do it. kelly x
With time and practice you will be able to inject yourself. Give yourself time and don't pressure yourself. You're doing this for your baby and believe me--- it will be worth it in the end! Just keep telling yourself, "I want my baby, I want my baby, I want my baby" in your mind. That's what I do when I want something badly enough.
Army- i spent 5 weeks in the hospital and now 2 weeks at home and 2 more to go on strict bedrest, only allowed up to pee and shower. My cervix was found to be short at 26. weeks
want- Sorry you are going through this.....
Everything4- I have been on bed rest for 5 wks. I'm hoping that it gets better soon. Is this part of your complications? I noticed your mood!

I have to give myself 3 injections of insullin in my belly every day (luckily i'm just gestational diabetic). You get use to it prety quick
Hang in there...I know its tough but people's minds are incredible when push comes to shove. Think about all those people who do incredible things...you can too...your incredible thing is going to be able to inject yourself like a pro and take care of yourself! Imagine if you were like allergic to a bee or something and if you didn't do it, you would literally die! I think I'd jab myself pretty quick!
Thankyou i really want to believe it will get better, right now it feels like its never gonna get better. I need to do it myself, i hate not being incontrol. I wont give up. x
I've never had to inject myself...and I can see why it feels wrong...BUT our cat was diagnosed with diabetes, and for awhile, I had to have my husband give him his insulin 2x a day for almost a year because I just felt terrible doing it. Well, his schedule changed and I was the only one home to do it so I did what I HAD to do. My point is, you need to do what you HAVE to do...know that it isn't for you, its for baby and that there is no choice involved! Try to put mind over matter and after a few times, hopefully it will be second nature...Good luck!
