HELP!! Is this Normal Pain???

I have been hesitant to ask this, but I figured whatever, we're all girls! For quite some time now during my pregnancy, I have been experiencing a dull pain "down there". It usually only hurts when I sit down to pee, like the pressure from the baby or from my uterus is pressing down on my hoo-ha, and causing this pain. It's not that it burns when i pee or anything like that. It almost feels like the pain one gets when they first have sex, like a dull pain/sore feeling....

anyone else experiencing this???

It's not sharp pains, it's just sorta of a dull uncomfortable pain. But thank you... I feel better knowing I'm not alone!!! :)
Nickie- I do tend to notice a lot more in the morning after sleeping, now that you mention sleeping on your left side...

Tasha I am having the same problem... I think that we are getting to the point where our babies are starting to put on weight that our bodies notice. The only thing I have been able to do to fix the problem is to lay more on my left side... OH the joys and pains of pregnancy!

definitely normal. but if the pain becomes sharp or is accompanied by an increase in discharge (specifically foul-smelling or discolored) you need to see your doctor ASAP. the cervix is going to be sore and the pain can radiate down through your vagina....but ask about it when you next see your OB. it can be a sign of an incompetent or dilating cervix and should be checked but it's most likely normal...i've had the same pain this entire pregnancy and i'm only just now starting to dilate at 32wks.
