Braxton Hicks for me was like labor pain, but very inconsistent. It started in my lower back. I don't think you have anything to worrry about. Your baby was probably in a weird position or something :) If it's that, next time try drinking a cold beverage and see if the baby will move positions. If you're concerned, talk to your doctor about it. You shouldn't have anything to worry about, though :) Good luck!
no BH feel like your uterus is kind of contracting and becomes very hard they go away right away though...the hip pain could be a sciatic nerve i had it since i was 5 months along very painful and you need to stop what your doing ,it radiated from your hip all the way to your lower extremity..am 37 weeks and still have it at times..try to relax when you have it and you dont need the obgyn ..feel better
Thanks... there are so many achs an pains that are normal during pregnancy it can be hard to tell. I feel fine now. My little guy has been having a party in there today... so who knows. lol. Anita
Braxton hicks are in your uterus, you feel your uterus tightening it almost goes like a wave from the top to bottom. If you put your hand on your bump you will feel it getting hard. I would say were having round ligament pain.
I don't think a call to your OB is necessary.
