HELP-weight gain

How can I slow it down!! I am eating healthy no sodas or junk but have gone from 118lbs to 126.6lbs and I am only 15 wks! I feel like a whale already and I am a very petite woman in general. This is my second baby and I gained 30lbs with my son. Please give me some recommendations on how to gain slow and steady. Thanks!

I gained 8 lbs in the first trimester with my first pregnancy. 1-3 lbs is normal weight gain in a week. Your doctor shouldn't be getting you upset over something like this. You're fine... Eat healthy like you're doing and try not to worry about the # of lbs yo u are. Your growing a baby and you need to gain this weight. It will melt away after the baby comes. I'm 30 wks with twins and dam, I've gained 60 lbs. Talk about a whale, lol.
I used to be 100 lbs. It is what it is. I eat well and I drink a lot of water so what else can be done, nothing other then  walking and yoga.

Hello, there is no miracle food that can do that, or else people who are overweight wouldn't be.  I agree with one of the other posts above, its probably just water weight, plus, you are in a lower weight category, so weight gain from pregnancy won't do you any harm.  If you are eating healthy, then what else can you do except maybe get more exercise.  I do zumba a few times a week.  Its a dance aerobics class.  I do the DVDs because I have to monitor my heart rate to below 140 beats per minute.  Also, I do the elliptical too.  Its safe to do as well.  If that doesn't work, maybe ask your doctor what other options there are.  I know how you feel though.  I have gain 5 pounds and I am 15 weeks, so I have been feeling pretty bad myself. I also have been eating healthy and have had zero soda as well.  I will have a sweet treat once a week or so, but that's it.
