HELP

Ok i am almost 2 cm dialated im 36 weeks and i went to the doctor and she said that im in prodromal labor i lost my mucus plug like 2 weeks ago my doctor put me on some pills about 3 weeks ago to slow things down just stoped taking them yesterday i dont know what prodromal labor means so when should my baby com!!!!

You can stay dilated for many weeks before going into labor. It is not any indication that your baby is coming soon. Braxton Hicks contractions are also normal. Real labor contractions will not subside or come-and-go (they will be persistent).

Yeah that's pretty normal and sounds really annoying. Your body is preparing itself for birth.You can go into labor 2morrow or next week.There is no telling.I guess it's up to the baby! Was your dr. trying to get you furthur along?

yea it is  im haveing contractions hear and their but they always go away within a few hours

It means false labor.It does the work of preparing the uterus and cervix for birth.The contractions are usually irregular and more intense then braxton hicks.It can be days before you go in to actual labor.I only know this from things I have read.It must be really furstrating for you.Are you having contractions at all?
