Has anyone experienced this pain?

I'm not pregnant though i really want to be and don't think i'm going to get my BFP due to some problems.  However, i know i ovulated 28/08/09 normally i get a few cramps but the pain this month was unbearable i was crying couldn't go to the loo as it was to sore pushing down on my ovaries to do both TMI :(  Has anyone ever experienced this pain before?  i still had it the next day but i could cope there was no way i was going to be able to have sex on the 28/08/09.  Could there be a problem?

thanks very much tarajanes i think AF is deffo on the way though got back ache and my breasts are slightly tender normal symptoms for when AF is due

common name for this is  mittelschmerz,can be very painful. Its  also possible you released more than one egg this month.ive experienced this before but that was when i was on clomid.over stimulated my ovaries.so as a guess i think more eggies released.if this is first time its happened,wouldnt worry to much,but if happens again,I would get checked out just to be sure.
