Have I lost my mucus plug?
I'm 36+4 weeks & I think I've lost my mucus plug. I'm not sure tho because everything I have read about it says it's supposed to have a bloody substance in it as well. Everything else fits the discription except I haven't seen any spotting. Could this be my mucus plug?
Nah its not always bloody. Mine wasn't. It was just a huge ball of snot. It was gross.

How did the substance look other than bloody...was it like a tick sticky mucus?

Yes it looked like a thick glob of snot but it was just clear.
