thanks Ladies! My husband is is class until 11pm so I will have to wait to get some thing for it. So I'm just going to have to deal with it today. Every thing will be closed by the time he gets home. I can't turn my head so I don't think it would be safe for me to drive. :-( Being I'm out of work right now, no one wants to hire a pregnant woman, I try not to spend money if i can help it. Anita
Not sure if it is okay but remember anything that touches your skin is also absorbed into your blood stream and passed onto baby. I don't think this could hurt, though. You could check the label and see if it says to not use when pregnant! If it doesn't say, then check their website.
I have horrible neck and shoulder problems and I find it's best to alternate ice and heat. The ice works like ibuprofin would to reduce the swelling that is causing the pain and the heating pad acts like a pain reliver. Good luck!
Icy hot should be just fine! It will help soothe sore muscles...... I was feeling that same in my neck and the middle of my shoulders a week ago or so..... I think its just pregnancy related
Icy hot should be ok. Just don't use a ton of it. :)
The strange thing is that I woke up this morning to go pee an I felt fine. ( It was early) So icy/hot is safe? Did you ask your dr about it? I'm high risk so i have to be very careful.
i used icy hot while prego last time. i pinched a nerve in my neck while washing my hair in the shower and was feeling the eact same as you are. it took a couple days but it got better.
Could I use icy/hot or that stick thing thats made by the poeple that make head on? I don't have any tylenol or a heating pad. :-( I don't thing I need to drive an my hubby is getting ready for class. ( sigh ) Anita
Extra Strength Tylenol is about it.
I've had this happen before when pregnant. I'd lay down and get a heating pad for your neck and shoulder to help loosen up those muscles. Every now and then stretch your neck a little bit but do not over-extend it. Just stretch it as far as it will go in all directions.
