in cases like this it's always good to call a doctor or to go to an ER because with my first pregnancy I had the same symptoms at about 28 weeks (a little spotting, no pain) and had to be convinced to go to the ER (I felt fine!) where they immediately put me on an IV magnesium drip and ambulanced me to the next hospital over with a neo-natal intensive care unit. There they gave me steroid shots cause they thought I was going to deliver that night and they were concerned that his lungs wouldn't be developed enough to breathe air. (very scary)
long story short I ended up on hospitalized bed rest for the next 5ish weeks and still delivered him early. so you're better off to be safe than sorry.
Thanks, good to know that everything seems to be ok. plus i have finally hit the 3rd trimester! and i am sooo excited....i'm on the home strech!
Hey this happned to me last week... and the doc told me it might just be my uterus being irritated... (im 26 weeks) and as long as there is no cramping it will be fine
Thanks everyone for helping me make it through last night. i am pleased to say that i haven't had any spotting since. I am still having the diarrhea and nasuea but if its just a bug then i am not to worried about that. So hopefully no more bleeding and i can make it full term with this little man!
Glad everything seems to be going well.....Make sure you drink lots of water, especially if you're having diarrhea....you don't want to dehydrate yourself!
Ok thanks you guys! I am starting to calm down a little bit. Even though i still feel like **** i have not had any more spotting so far. So fingers cross in hopes that everything is fine. I though i was a nervous wreck the first time around, this one has me much more nervous then my daughter did LMAO Man if i went through this with my first pregnancy i would have had a heart attack right there and never had more kids LOL. Its amazing how attached we can be to someone we have yet to meet. I love this little boy, and he better start behaving LOL
i hope everything will be fine and its like what mom23angels said and it just an irritated cervix! isaiah will be fine and you'll keep him in the oven for a very long time!!! :) keep us posted. i'll be up for a long time (i get insomnia when dh isn't here!) but i can't post quick enough b/c of my computer (i swear i'm gonna break the d@mn thing!)... but i watch for updates!
I wouldn't worry too much hon.... The baby is moving which is a very good sign.. It could just that maybe the baby is moving so much that it's irritating the cervix... My youngest, my son used to literally kick me in the cervix..... It would cause me to spot a little because of all the pressure going down toward the cervix.... As long as baby is moving, you should be fine. It could also be that your cervix is just inflamed......... Keep us posted!
I just had a ultrasound on the 12th of march. Everythign was fine and i found out that the baby isn't breech anymore. I know what you mean when you say it makes you nervous everytime you see a post about this on here......i get the same feeling, but once again its me going through it and i feel like i am going to die inside. I pray that everything is ok with Isaiah b/c its way to early to have him. Now every little thing i feel i am worring about. Thanks for being here for me you guys b/c i avoid telling my fiance b/c he tends to freak out worse then i do and gets me even more scared.
maybe it was nothing at all??? but i know that's scary!!! i get very scared every time i read on here about someone having pregnancy trouble especially when they're right along in gestation w/ me!
from what i've read spotting in (or near) the 3rd trimester can signal placenta previa. when was your last u/s? did they look at the location of your placenta?
thanks everyone.
The doctor called back and she seems to think that i have caught a stomach bug b/c of the nasuea and diharea(sp?) but said the spotting wasn't related. She said that everything i said is reasurring b/c the baby is still moving fine and i am not in any pain. She said that if anything changes that i should call back right away. She said that she would leave a message with my doctor anyway and that if i felt worse bug wise i should also call back right away.
I am still very scared but feel a little better knowing that the baby is moving around a lot more and I am praying that i see no more blood or anything.
i'm doing the same thing w/ the pooping! that's why i was asking. even though you are doing it more, do you still have to strain a little (sorry if tmi!)? i was going to post about this to see if anyone was doing it (going more i mean) its been like this w/ me for the past 3 or 4 days. and i was having really bad pains yesterday so i wonder if its related? not contractions (or BH) though, just pains.
Let us know. Im praying for you
Keep posting and know that you have a whole community thinking positive thoughts for you and your baby!
I just called and now i am waiting for the on call doctor to call me back. I have been really naseous and have been pooping a lot more, where i could barely go at all before....I have been very exahasted and think i may have had some braxton hicks contractions but not many, and i'm not even surethats what they were.
I am freaking out, i never went through this with my daughter. I had bleeding with this one at 15 weeks that was bright red.......i was hoping i was past all this.
dude... let us know what they say! how have you been feeling sick lately... like in what way???
thanks for getting back to me so quickly, i think i'll just call the doctor and see what they say.
No i haven't had sex recently..unless friday counts
I have been feeling sick but other then that everything seems normal and the baby is moving around fine.
I agree with the others....go to the ER...NOW! Good luck!
I had a mc that started out the same way...no cramping...just some pink tinge on the tp when I went to the bathroom...I called the doctor and he told me to come in immediately because it could be a sign of mc, ectopic pregnancy OR nothing at all...some women bleed throughout pregnancy and have perfectly healthy full term babies. I wouldn't take any chances though. Good luck!
are you cramping? or have you had sex recently?
