Help please

Can you begin to lose your mucus plug at 30 weeks as iv just been to the toilet and it looked very thick and white sorry tmi!

Thank you :) I'll definitely mention it to them I mean I wasn't too worried as I'm not in any pain and there was no blood thankfully I did some research online and heard it's normal for women who have had children before x

Mucus plugs can come out little by little but grow back. If the whole mucus plug comes out it doesnt grow back.

Ive been losing mine since i was 25 weeks. And im 34 weeks now.

So no need to worry unless the whole thing comes out... even then it could take a week or so for labor to come on.

Yeh it is normal, some mums lose their plug weeks in advance but it actually grows back so you will more than likely find you'll lose it again at a later date. Or continually on little bits. Nothing to worry about but do mention it at your next appointment x
