Help... really confused!!

Hi, I am 21 and have been married for a little over a year now, I was diagnosed with pcos a couple of months before the wedding when i believed to be pregnant after having missed a period for 2 months and 2 positive over the cunter tests... i went to get my blood test and it came out negative to my surprise... I was then told by my byn that i could have been pregnant and miscarried, therefore there were still hormones in my system that made the otc tests come out positive, but not enough to get a positive blood test... i am now experiencing a late period again and took 2 pregnancy tests both positive, i dont wanna go to my doctor and look like an idiot, so ive been reading about this... and i read that having cysts in your ovaries can give a false positive, is this true ?? and how accurate is this.... Please help!! im really confused!!

Thank  you!! i do have ovarian cysts according to my gyn... i called the doctors office and they said wait a week and take another otc... if its positive then u most likely are... so i guess i will wait... thanks for your response!!

Ovarian cysts can cause false positives but it is very very rare.  Do you have an ovarian cyst?  If not you would know if you had one.  I would def. call the MD.  You won't look like an idiot.  I work at a doctors office and that is what we are there for so call them.  Good luck and I hope everything works out good for you.
