High Amniotic Fluid??

Hello FTM here at 32 weeks :) I had an ultrasound in the city yesterday and I found out I have a high amount of amniotic fluid around my son..I've read in the latter trimester of pregnancy it causes minor complications..plus it could be caused by my gestational diabetes that I was diagnosed with at 28 weeks pregnant..Is there any other moms that have had this happen?

The medical term for this is poly hydramnios. Usually gestational diabetes is the cause of this. U will be fine.

Im 33wks and was told the same last week.U have the diabetes which is more than likely the reason for this.for me i dont have the diabetes which means im up against more risks. U will be able to monitor your diet and watch ur bloods and u will be fine.they usually bring u in at 38 weeks and induce u when u have gestational diabetes. Im sure your baby will be perfectly healthy.best of luck.
