I had pregnancy-induced hypertension with my third pregnancy, and am newly pregnant with #4 and am already having some BP issues. I am so nervous whenever the doc puts a cuff on my arm, and I cannot calm myself down. I'd love to hear other people's experiences with high blood pressure during pregnancy. The doc said that if I take my BP at home and the readings are still high, she will consider putting me on meds again. I was so hopeful that this was not going to happen again! Any info would be much appreciated. I did not have any BP issues with my first two and had fairly easy and smooth pregnancies.
