Hip pain while sleeping-suggestions to help?

I am 19w2d and the past 2 nights ive had bad hip pain after laying on my sides. I use a body pillow, i place it between my legs and under my belly for support, but its not helping. I saw my OB today and she assured me its normal. However, i was just wondering if any of you have suggestions on something that may help. Its causing me to lose sleep bc the pain wakes me up...im so tired amd just want a good night of sleep. id appreciate any suggestons. Thank you ladies!! :)

I took a nap on my moms recliner the other day and it was so comfy! Do you have a recliner at home? Maybe sleep there for a night?
I also sometimes sleep on my back but propped up with a pillow under feet.
Hope you are able to get some good sleep soon!

its only going to get worse :( im 32 weeks and battle the pain every night. only thing that helps is sleeping half sitting up with a ton of pillows. the sleep i get isnt as good as on my side, but at least its sleep. I only do that when both my hips are beyond the point that i can sleep on them. The butterfly stretch, where you put the bottom of your feet together with your knees at about a 90 degree angle and stretch forward works well to get into the spot that they hurt. Also getting up and walking around for a few minutes helps.

If you ever try sleeping on your back, sleep atleast somewhat propped up. Thats what I do when I cant sleep on my sides anymore. Im 20 weeks so I feel your pain. I keep my fiance up all night with my tossing in turning from the discomfort. I don't think there's much you can really do, but to just keep in mind that the pain is for a good cause.
