Horrible nosebleeds....

I've gotten nosebleeds the whole time I've been pregnant but lately they've been worse, like feeling as if they wouldn't stop.... earlier today it bled for atleast 10 minutes and I felt light headed. I'm 16w, does this lighten up at any point or will this be happening till I have the baby?

For most pregnancies they should (i have a bleeding disorder so lol not my case).
when you get a nosebleed gently blow your nose to get any clots out that have formed because during an active bleed they are not the right kind of clots.
Then take tissue and with your thumb and forefinger pinch your nose up by the bridge. Tilt your head slightly forward.  Leaning backwards will cause blood to drain into your stomach and it will make you nauseated.
Hold for at least 10 mins. NO PEAKING!
If your nose is still bleeding after these steps, repeat as needed.  If you have a nosebleed that lasts more than 30 mins call your doctor.
Things to help nosebleeds happen less:
Use a humidifier - it helps me a ton!
Buy nasal saline spray - use it about 3 times a day
if you have sores in your nose (i know that pain!) - a light coating of triple antibiotic applied in the nostril will help (this is from my hematologist and it works!)

Feel free to ask me anything nosebleed related lol I've had them daily for 13.years. :)
