Hospital Bag

Me and the bf have packed Little Michael`s bag already because they say he could come at any time. Im on freaking strict bed rest because of him lol. Well anyways to my point. Now I have to get my bag together and for some reason I am at a lost as what to pack. So ladies help me out and tell me what you putin yours and then mabey I can actually start mine today. Thanks in advance

Keep it simple! I packed a ton for my first L&D and ended up not even touching anything except my toothbrush and our clothes right before we went home.

So for me, I'm going to keep it really simple and use one bag. Baby will have diapers/wipes, etc. at the hospital. You only need to bring his coming home outfit, carseat and a light blanket (keep the sun out of his eyes).

For me:
-Going home outfit for me
-Underwear I don't care about ruining
-Socks
-Toiletries/Makeup (don't forget deodorant)
-Pillow(s)
-Camera and batteries
-Contacts/Glasses
-My wallet (with insurance card, money, etc.)

That's probably it! The hospital will have everything else. And if I forget anything my husband will be sleeping at home at nights with our other children so he can just bring whatever I need the next day.

Put a note on your bag with a list of stuff that you cant pack ahead of time so you dont forget anything.

Undies, toothbrush, toothpaste, comfy clothes, your OWN slippers...hospitals might give you gigantic socks...not fun. I had a c-section so I was kinda bored sometimes when I didn't have the baby with me for tests, while he was in the nursery, etc...so I'd say a book, or if you have your own suite like I did and it has a tv/dvd player, movies...hair ties, hairbrush, make up, shampoo, conditioner, body soap...unless you want to use what the hospital has, basically pack like you were going away for a few days on vacation. OH nursing pads!! If you wear contacts, bring your carrier and glasses, if you have to have a c-section (hopefully not/they aren't fun) some drs won't let you wear them...but yeah, it's kinda like packing for a getaway when you pack for yourself...
