I can't stop thinking the worst!!!

I'm 21 and I'm 8 weeks pregnant on Monday. I'm praying and hoping everything goes nice and smoothly but I can't help feeling that something will end up going wrong and I'm terribly scared that I might misscarry. Does anyone know the possibilities of doing so? And what I can do to get rid of feeling like this.

You can always get a doppler. It allows you to hear his or her heartbeat. But its common that you wont hear it all the time so dont worry if you have trouble finding it at first.  If you're unsure how to use it you can always ask your ob or just look it up on Youtube. I'll be getting one soon.

I'm the same way currently 10 weeks pregnant I have an aunt who had a miscarriage well she went to her 12 week check up and they found no heartbeat they told her her baby had stoped growing at 10 weeks it makes me do nervous I have an ultrasound July 11 I'll be 12 weeks  scared but I'm staying as positive as I can

I'm starting to get really excited but I get very overwhelmed with all sorts of feelings,  it's my first child which I think is making me sorry more. X

To be honest you never stop worrying and once the baby arrives you find a million more things to worry about: welcome to motherhood :)

Thank you it's a horrible feeling. I do try to reassure myself and say if anything was going to happen it would of happened by now or I wouldn't of fallen pregnant just to keep myself going I just can't wait to get these next 4 weeks out the way and I think I will be OK.  Thank you so much. Xx

The chance of miscarrying before 12 weeks is 20%.  Everyone worries, it's natural but try not to let it get to you.
