I dont have a 28 day cycle. Would should i test?

I have just realized that i dont have a 28 cycle. I start my period normally on the 6th of every month. My cycle is 30 to 32. I TRUELY believe i am pregnant my period started on jan 7th lasted till the 9th it was spotting not a period. What day should i take a test because i dont even know when i ovulate or anything and i know you can test even a day early and get a negative test when your actually positive. When should i test?

You really shouldn't wait. As the others said, what happened to her is irrelevant because she isn't you. It doesn't matter what your parents think, especially if you no longer live with them. You need to get checked out. You're more than far enough along for a test to be accurate.

Well I do know you can't compare your situation with other people. Just because that happened to your friend doesnt mean it's gonna happen to you. In fact what happened to your friend is uncommon. Just relax. Stress can change your period. Wait a few days and test again

well i was spotting on my period do you call that a missed period? and my friend missed her period and was spotting on her period for 3 months. and first response said negative the first 2 test and the next 2 she took a week after and was positive. so its kinda hard to know if i am or if something else is wrong

I got 3 negatives from First Response tests... But I also took them before I missed my period. Once I missed my period I got a positive right away. If you truly missed your period then you should be getting positive results from a First Response test.

It is very uncommon for women to not show on standard pregnancy tests and still be pregnant. If you really think you are, you need to see a doctor and have beta testing done. This will read the exact level of hCG in your blood and you'll know 100% what is going on.

You definitely are not testing too early. Based on a 30 day cycle or so, you would be close to 6 weeks pregnant. What type of test are you using?

Try taking a test now... If it's negative wait a few days and test again. How much bleeding did you have?

So if you missed your regular period, you can test now and you should get an accurate result

If you just had a period on the 7th I don't think you would have even ovulated yet. Although, if it wasn't normal for you, you can test now to see what you get. If its negative then I would wait to see what happens your next cycle.

It's best to wait until after you miss your period. There are tests that say they can pick up the hormones before a missed period, but in order to get really accurate results it's best to wait.
