I feel like I'll wait too long

I have a really high threshold for pain and I feel like I will wait too long to go to the hospital. I think I've been having minor contractions all day but it's really hard for me to tell if they're contractions or if I am just really uncomfortable.
I am due in 7 days so we ate approaching the point where this is something to be concerned about.
Baby is still moving around a lot.

Thank you, everyone. I am quickly approaching the due date and just getting a little worried about things. I just want for the little guy to be here already and for there not to be any complications.

You are like me, my pain tolerance Is very high. When I had contractions I didn't know if they were or not until I called my mom and she told me to go!! Lol when I got there I was already 7cm. The only way I was able to tell was when I started timing them and they were 2-3 mins apart. So that would be the best thing to do. :) good luck and have a great delivery!

The best thing for you to do in that case is probably to time your contractions, and to go in when they are less than five minutes apart whether or not you are positive they are strong enough to be "the real thing". If it's not for real, and they send you home,  there's nothing to be embarrassed about - you can be sure they've done that a million times before.
Everyone has a different experience but I most certainly knew when it was the real thing and still was able to wait at home for about 12 hours after my water broke and contractions started before it was really time to head in. Most first timers have nice long labors. I wouldn't worry too much about it - you'll almost certainly figure it out before it's too late :-)

so, you have to time your contractions and they need to be consistently under 5 minutes (or around 5 minutes) before going to hospital.  And it still is often a good while after that before you actually are ready to push.

So, just monitor yourself and time the contractions.  good luck

Remember, it's not just the intensity of the contractions that you use for when to go to the hospital but how close they are together  You'll be able to time them and will know from that.  god luck
