I just wanted to know

Hey,
I recently gave birth to my DD in Dec 07 and my period was all over the place. My DR advised me to start taking the pill ASAP because it will bring on my period and make them regular. Ive taken them for a week now and they have been giving me headaches and dizziness. I was wondering if I could just take them for this month and then stop, would they keep on coming monthly?

I started birth control in the past and experienced the same type of symptoms among others.  In fact, I believe they were listed on the warning labels as bad side effects and instructed me to STOP taking them.  You many need an alternative brand or form of birth control from your doc

it all depends on your body. some ppl have to take birth control pills to even have a period. my sister is one of those ppl. i don't think one month is going to regulate your period though. you're going to have to take them for a few months to even get any effectiveness out of them.

and birth control pills shouldn't give you those symptoms. at least i've never heard of that. i would check back with my doc if i were you. good luck!
