I tested again...
and I'm as confused as ever. See the test says on the box to read within the 10 min mark. So I took it, and I waited..
When I went to look at it, I thought I seen a very light line trying to show. But, then I was like Okk.. maybe it's just me playing with my own head.. I looked again and I could actually see a line but it's still very faint. The first time I took a test, nothing showed up in the test window, so I only had one line. This one shows two. But it's soooo faint. It's VERY light light light pink... so how should I read that? A faint positive or a negative??

I plan too. I don't have any sign that I'm going to start af. So if I make it till sunday, I'll test again that morning.
Holding pee for an hour or so may not be long enough for your HCG levels to build up. That is why they suggest taking it with the first morning urine. So when you take the next one do it in the morning. :-)

well the I went stupid.. it was I took a few minutes ago, said negative. I held my pee for a LONG time. 2 hours almost. I don't know...Maybe I should use a different test. The one I got from the dollar store said, BFP. And, I checked it b4 the 10 min mark. I have one more test and I'm saving it until sunday or monday if I don't get af.
Sounds like a BFP to me girl. That is exactly how my first daughter showed on my hpt that I took with her. It was a very faint line, but it was still a line. It probably would have been darker, but my airheaded self peed in the window instead of taking the cover off the end of the stick. I was 2 1/2 weeks along though, so it was strong enough to seep through the window and still get to the right place. I was dumb. I think it was just because I was so nervous and excited, and didnt bother to read the directions. It looked self explanatory, but I was wrong, and didnt realize it until after I had taken the test and everything.Lol!!! Im such a dork sometimes. But either way, it was still a line and it was a definite positive.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you here and it's driving me mad! My last period was on the 26th Feb, I'm a 28 day cycle, so yeah I'm late. I feel pregnant and done like 5 tests all came bk negative until yesterday morning when I saw the faintest line, I mean really faint, but it was there none the less, so I was hopeful, then i held my pee in all night and done another this morning and it was negative!! I have no clue what the hells going on. I'm 21 and I've never been late like this before, this is the first time we've tried for a baby, so i wasn't really expecting to get a positive on the first go...but now i'm just so confused. i called my doctor and all he said was wait 2 days and test again! i feel like I've been doing that for weeks!.....I feel your frustration!

Joy, I think it actually tests somewhere between 25-50 bc when I requested a Quantative test after my BFP's about 2 days later my levels were 50hcg. So I think it HAS to test a little lower. From what Peeonastick says from what I remember one of those kinds is 25 the other is 50. I tested with a + - kind.
and CNTRYGRLLUVIN~ Maybe you did get lucky, and now is just the waiting game. also, if you look at peeonastick.com, unfortunately you'll see if you look at a test after the 10 min. time limit your NEVER to consider it a BFP. It tells of how the woman took her tests and threw it in a drawer and forgot about it. She looked at it the next day and it was BFP, turns out it was just the test. Some will look like a BFP ten min or more after the initial BFN.
BUT I think that you'll get your DARK bfp in the next few days, esp since your already late. I think you'll get it by sunday! (I tested 2 days and the day before af was due and got BFN, then tested 2 days after af was due and got my BFP's! that's why I trust the EPT. but ... still.. sometimes you get a stinker)
BTW, I'd also suggest buying some cheap little plastic disposable shot glasses, which is what I used to collect my urine before my test, that way I could dip Both tests. I did one and then a few min later when it showed + i did the other in the same urine to be sure.

well I've had a BFN, then a faint positive, and then later on today I took one that said BFN... It slipped and I caught it but it was shaken up. And, I didn't have enough pee. I just got through eating breakfast when I took it. The one I took EARLY this morning when I first got up was a faint positive. I'm just confused. lol.

Are you late yet? If not then wait until AF is late to test. If you are late, just wait 2-3 more days as HCG doubles every 48-72 hours. So say your levels are at 14 or so (some tests pick that up----EPT actually is not a very good test and tests 50 MIU of HCG). Anyway, so in 2 days those levels would be 28 and most tests detect HCG at levels of 25!
So just wait and use FMU (first morning urine)!!!

Sounds promising! I was actually 3 days late for my period. I didn't really even think about being pregnant to be honest haha. But I went and bought a two pack of FRER I believe...and took one. I had the FAINTEST line appear and me not really knowing anything about testing or pregnancy..I thought it was a dud. Even though the package said there may be a faint line and that its a positive, but to retest in the AM. So I did. The morning of day 4 I took the other test in the package...and got the same result. So I decided to go to CVS and just bought their digital brand tests. Two in a package. I took one the night after I bought it and it said PREGNANT. Of course I was smiling the entire time, but inside I was terrified about what my boyfriend would do. By the time he got home from work the message on the test was gone. So I got the other one out, peed on it, and walked up to him. He kind of freaked..but don't worry the next day he called and apologized and told me I was right and that we should keep it. I miscarried 4 weeks later though. :( Good luck to you!

I have been silly on the other hand. Was convinced that my internet tests were dud. Went to shop and bought sainsbury's brand and a FRER. Did one of the sainsbury's ones and the control line didn't even come up and I peed on it loads. Peed again and it was negative! I know technically that it's void test but spent $30 so don't want to waste others. Was dying to do one when I got home tonight but am leaving it. AF due tomorrow and I have some cramps- I have been a bit ratty as well. Convinced now that I am not pregnant so am going to get my body fit before I ovulate again!
Congratulations to all the BFPs, Fingers crossed for all those still on 2ww and looking forward to chatting with everyone hoping next month is it!!!

test again tomarrow and dont drink anything at night you pee will be muh stronger in the morning cause you have no liquid in your body. it'll show better.

I took an ept but It said negative. I honestly don't think I did it right. I just took it a few minutes ago. I didn't have enough pee honestly. And it slipped and I caught it so it wasn't flat the whole time. The lines for the "BFN" didn't even show up very bright at all.
Kinda makes me feel like I just got my hopes up for nothing...

CONGRATULATIONS! I had 2 faint positives at 12DPO, take another one tomorrow, it will be darker! I wish you the best..
i guess the next test you take will just confirm your PREGNANT!!!!! woohoo!!! im sure your doing a lil happy dance right now :)
