if you do the cooking in your house (which....i do) betty crockers website has WONDERFUL vegetarian dishes that have ZERO meat in them and are very filling. at first everyone complained because it was all veggies but now everybody loves it and it doesn't make me so sick and nauseous that i have to hide in the opposite end of the house!

Well I have always ate chicken it was part of our meal plan at least 3 times a week since I got pregnant but since I have been I won't even let my boyfriend buy it at the store and I am having a boy and there is no doubt abou that one. I hope I go back to normal after I have the baby cause I used to LOVE CHICKEN. but not now. eww, get it away.lol. kinda strange.

I am repulsed by meat as well, and have been since about week 5. I'm 21 weeks along now - with a boy! Dont believe those wives tales, they'll make you crazy! :)

Nope, it is a Myth, although I beg to differ lol. I am 18 weeks pregnant with my 4rd child, with My daughter I couldnt stand the smell of chicken and ground beef, with my 2 boys I was perfectly fine but couldnt have coffee or anything acidic cuz of heartburn.

This pregnancy is almost 100% exactly like my pregnancy with my daughter, I cant eat pork, chicken or beef without being sick.

Also I never had morning sickness with my 2 boys, I only had it with my daughter and it had lasted all the way through delivery, and needless to say im having the same issue with this one. *crossing fingers for a girl*

I was told that was true by an older woman in my church, I think it is an old wives tale that says if you are disgusted my red meats inparticular, but I dont think there is any scientific basis for it.  Are you hoping for a girl?   Good luck and I wish you a wonderful and pleasant 6 more months!
