Wow glad to know I'm not the only one lol well I was a 9lb baby myself and my husband is tall and also was a big baby when he was born so maybe that's also a factor lol
I had my first child came at 34 weeks and he weighed 5 pounds and 2 ounces.
I'm due sept 10 and I got an ultrasound yesterday and he's at 5.4 lbs. I'm 34 weeks. My first was born at 38 wks at 7.3 and my son was born at 40 weeks at 8.4 lbs, so hopefully this one isn't 9.5lbs
I think my son was close to that at 34 weeks. He was 8 pounds 6 ounces. Part of the factor in this is how bit you are as the mommy. My son was small for my family. We are all tall with broader hips. Both my sister gave birth naturally to both her sons who were both around 9 pounds. My mom also gave birth naturally to an 11 pound baby. As long as you're not a small framed person you'll probably be fine.
Tmrw ill be 35 wks. & my bbygrl weighs 3lbs ob is concerned obviously. But ihave a few more fews togo ithink she'll b fine. Plus , im vry small doc always told me your gonna have small babies. My 1st(girl) weighed 6lbs w.12oz 40 wks . My 2nd (boy) weighed 5lbs w.14oz @37wks.
How did you find out how much your baby weighs ? They havent told me anything im 36 weeks :(
But my first weighed 6 pounds 4oz .
I had a growth scan at 34 weeks and baby was measuring at 5lb 7! Was told this is totally normal though and I actually got the scan as my bump is so small they were worried baby wasn't growing properly. So don't worry I'm now 37 weeks and still tiny haha xx
My baby is weighing at 5 pounds at 35 weeks.
Thanks lol yeah that's why I'm scared I might have a ten lb baby I'm due Sept 11 although the latest I think I'll get to its the rth of September thanks lol
Not going to be much help here but just wanted to let you know im in a similar boat this pregnancy went to the dr when i was 30 wksish and baby girl was estimated at weighing 4 lbs. At almost 38 weeks when i had my first she was 5 lbs 8 oz so of course this was a shock to me and my lady parts finding out the new one is already estimating at 4 lb. But moral of this long reply I asked dr roughly how much he thought she will weigh about birth and he said they gain about a 1 lb every 2 weeks roughly.
