I'm a little confused

Hello ladies.

I was wondering if you might be able to help me.

I did a digital pregnancy test on sunday march 20. (this urine test was fmu). It came back positive 1-2 weeks. Which would make me about 3-4 weeks along. I called my dr's office on monday and I went and did a urine test there. I just called my dr's office and they said the urine test came back negative. (this urine test was not fmu)

How is that possible? I've been having some spotting off and on for the last couple days. So I was beginning to think I was having a miscarriage. What the heck is going on?

I'm now going to go get some blood work done, and see what those results are.

*sigh* so now I might not be pregnant. And here I was so excited when I got that BFP. We've been trying to conceive for 9 months

Thanks. :)

I just went and had blood work done to find out for sure. So I'll know in a couple days whether I am or not.

Man I hate playing the waiting game

Hi, I got a HPT positive then went to the doc and got a negative, most doctors use 100 up HCG tests. HPT are usually more sensitve. Good luck :)

I can't imagine it either. There has be to be an HCG level to get a positive. But would the urine test have picked up a miscarriage cause the HCG levels dropped?

I can't Imagine the digital test being wrong, the docs tests may not be as sensitive as the one you have used!

But still a positive is a positive have a happy 9 months
