I'm kinda confused Help!!!

Well i'm 29 weeks pregnant with identical twins and yesterday I noticed that my stomach had lowered quite a lot and in the top of my stomach feels bruised when I touch it even slightly, I am having Braxton Hicks but what does it mean when my stomach has dropped this early on, my mum said it was quite early for it to have dropped too.
Has anyone got any suggestions on why this may of happened and how I can ease the bruising feeling?
Thanks to everyone who posts a comment.

Im 32 weeks and I dropped pretty early around 27/28 weeks. sometimes it means its almost time and others its just your baby is preparing! which is still good :) i have the bruising feeling & my doctor told me it was just me doing somemore stretching but if you are worried n it doesnt feel right always ask your doctor or do a walk in at the hospital better to be safe! :) Also one of your babys could be sitting breach while the other is not. Good luck and hope all is well!

Thanks for your help and on my last scan my smallest baby was breach whilst the bigger one has been head down for most of my pregnancy so yeah you could be right about that :)
