I'm new here and have a question...

I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second child and have had two miscarriages, one at 6 weeks and one at 7 weeks. About two weeks ago I began feeling the normal flutters and then it turned into light kicking. The kicking only lasted for a couple of days, now I feel nothing. I know it is still early, but for some reason I am worried. Do you think I should call the doctor, or am I being paranoid?

As others said you won't feel consistent movement just yet. Baby has so much room right now that it's easy for them to "hide" and kick at your back. I definitely understand your fear though!

nope, it's normal. The regular kicks can sometimes not even start til closer to 30w. that's what happened w/my first son. This time I felt regular movement at around 24w

I've been through the same thing. I am about 18 weeks and really don't feel the baby move much right now. My OB says everything is fine, so I guess I have to trust her on that, though I know how scary it can be. Try to relax as I am sure everything is fine with your little one.

i wouldn't be too concerned i was feeling flutters and little kicks from about that time here and there until about 25 weeks when i could feel her move everyday. The baby could have changed positions and be facing the back.
