Implantation Bleeding??

I'm hoping someone can help me. 5 days before my scheduled period, I started bleeding during sex so I thought, perhaps, I was starting my period early, but then after that, it just went away. The next morning and the morning after that I woke up and found dark brown thin clots when I wiped. They came and went throughout the day, but nothing heavy and not any normal period blood - just the thin brown clot-type things. Could this be implantation bleeding or just an unusual period coming early? I am TTC and this is the first time I've ever experience anything like this. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, did it end up being a sign of something bad? What does implantation bleeding look like?
thanks!

It could be your period..when this would happen to me i would start getting cramps and then with an hour or two id have a full peiod. But implantation bleeding can be brown or light pink. Ive had implantation bleeding with all of my pregnancies and its nothing to worry about unless there is cramping along with it.
Are your periods regular? If they are you should test with first morning urine and if its negative wait two days and test again.

Thank you! Yes, my periods are pretty regular and after the brown spotting, I haven't had any blood or have even needed to wear tampons like I do when I get my period. It was just the brown spotting two mornings in a row. I guess I will wait a couple of days and take a test. I just hope it doesn't mean that my body was rejecting a pregnancy. I'm not really sure was implantation really looks like, but hopefully it was just that...
