Implantation bleeding?

Hi,
I am new to this site, and I was wondering if anyone could help me with my puzzled question. I had my LMP on July 4, 2010 and should have ovulated around 17-19th. At 10PM on July 21st I started bleeding (spotting). It wasn't enough to wear a pad. At first it started out brownish-pink, but now it has been 24hrs later and it changed to red. It still is only small in amount just enough for a thin liner. I also have period cramps in my lower back. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for over 1 year now. My periods are always on regular schedule. .My cycle is 32 days and I should have gotten my next one on Aug. 5. I have never had two periods in one month. Could this be implantation bleeding? I have researched implantation bleeding and everyone is different. It says one could be a few hours to a few days, but at 10 tonight it will be 48hrs. I'm worried because it's too soon to take a hpt, but i don't want to wait too long to see the doctor. Could anyone suggest anything?

Mine was half a day. Light red bleeding. I went to get a test when I started getting nauseous and pregnancy symptoms! You could go in to see a Doctor and get a blood test, I'm sure you'll know there right away! Good luck (:
