Is A Bath Safe?

Hey girls - as you know I am about 5 - 6 weeks preggers.  I started spotting Tues and am currently waiting for my 2nd hcg level to make sure its doubling.  The spotting has stopped - not even any brown discharge.  Would it be safe for me to take a bath to try and relax and kill some time?

Thanks  guys.  I knew baths were safe during pregnancy, I just wasn't sure because I had been spotting.  But now I am definately going to take a long bath and try and relax and kill some time. 2 hours and 20 minutes until I can call for my results.

I LOVED my baths too when I was pregnant. Just be careful what kind of soap you put in there if you like bubbles. When I was pregnant with my first I didn't realize how strong some of that stuff can be and it caused me to have a bacterial infection from all the smell goods and I was limited to my baths! :( BUT three years later they have come out with bubble bath stuff from Summer's Eve. It's so mild, bubbles up great, and smells good too!!! I've been using it everytime I take a bath (which is like every couple of days because I have a seperate shower that I use most of the time) and it hasn't bothered me at all...

I don't see why not, just as long as it's not "hot"-you know the kind when your skin is red when you get out and feel like you're gonna pass out---lol, just not that hot
