Is falling during pregnancy is bad?? how does it affects the baby???

i slip last February 11, 2010. but there is no bleeding and i haven't experience any pain in my stomach. but i am 4 months pregnant. is it possible may affect for my baby? physically? mentally??

You are right, the baby would probably be ok. I would be more worried about starting premature labor if I fell.

Thank u for the comments.. i already consulted my OB regarding this matter and advised me to go for Pelvic ultrasound. i did it and thank God. all the results are okey..

usually things are fine when you fall, because the baby is cushioned by the uterus, placenta and a bunch of water. however you should call your doctor and see if he wants to do a check and record any strange symptoms! your in a good range Dr say falling is more dangerous during the  first trmester and the end of the third. You should always get check after a fall! You can hurt the baby depending on the impact and how you feel. Usually things are OK but things can happen and the baby die even. Not to scar you but if the baby seems fine on us then I would not worry at all!!!! Your uterus is nice and cooshy and the baby is protected to some extent.

My ex slammed a door into my belly at 6 months and I never really had a bruise but my daughter was born with hearing loss in the ear where it hit her! Very sad and they never did anything to him either. I have fallen though being pregnant and been OK but lke I said you shoudl always get checked!
