Is it going to be okay?

Hi I'm Katie I'm 21 and I'm really worried about my pregnancy and i just really needed to know if anyone has been told similar or been in this situation and who has had their babies successfully , or not. The drs wouldn't tell me any stats so I'm hanging having to wait. Okay so here's what's happened;
I went to hospital with what turned out to be spotting and did the ultrasound and told I was 5.5 weeks and the yok sac was there and they wanted to rescan 10 days later to check on everything. I went back on Friday ( 2 days ago) and told that the sac had only grown 2mm and measured only 6.1 weeks..... And still no pole or heartbeart and I also had an internal ultrasound. The scanner said to not get my hopes up as she didn't think the pregnancy will be successful but when I saw the dr she said that this can just be a late starter and they want to scan me again but only in 10 days? I read on Wikipedia that the pole can appear as late as 9 weeks but they want to rescan at 7.5 then they will suggest a D&C .... Had anyone got any similar situations that has turned out okay? I feel numb and everyday like I'm feeding a baby that isn't going to develop . Really getting me down .

If you don't want a d&c yet and want to wait tell the doc. I has same thing only I didn't have a yolk...but at 7 weeks you should have a heartbeat. If your not comfortable doing a d&c till 9 weeks then just let it happen naturally and see.

I had a very similar situation back in december 2011.
It turned out that I had a miscarriage.
My babys sac ended up shrinking and I had to have a d & c.
I am hoping for the best for you & please keep me updated.
