Is my unborn baby going to be ok? 23 weeks regular braxton hicks contractions

Im 23 weeks, and for the last three weeks ive been having pain free braxton hicks contractions. Only the last two days ive been getting them about once every half an hour at the most and once every two hours at the least. My doctor surgery is closed and i dont feel the need to go to A&E if its normal. My baby is moving and seams fine. However these more frequent contractions are begining to worry me. The first day i thought it would be best to try and stay sitting down for most of the day, but they didnt go, and the second day (today) i thought excercise might help, i havent noticed it as much but i think thats because ive been walking alot, but now im home im noticing it again. What should i do? Is this normal ? Thanks for advice

I started having BH around 21 weeks or so.. I cant recall now but I remember it being very early and was freaked out by it...  I had them every couple hours until 26 weeks or so then they went away.. . I would have like 1-2 a day then....

I would drink lots of water and spend some day laying down on your left side...

My BH contractions just started coming back a couple days ago and I am 30 weeks now..   I dont time mine, I just kind of count them and I get a couple in a row in a short period then I start to monitor them closely..  i have yet to have more than 3 in an hour and that was back when I was around 24 weeks..

It feels weird when they start so early...

Exercise won't help bh go away and in most cases can cause you to have more. Drinking lots of water, making sure your bladder is empty and getting off your feet can help. It's normal to have bh your entire pregnancy, but not normal if they start to develop a regular pattern. The rule of thumb is no more than 4 or 5 an hour. At that point you would need to call your dr or the oncall nurse and speak with them.

More than 4 or 5 in an hour or spotting/cramping are all reasons to call your dr right away.
