Is this normal?

I missed my period last saturday (today is tuesday), so I tested for pregnancy 4 times and they came back positive. The two days before I missed my period I had a lot of bad cramping. I had to take 1000mg of tylenol every four hours even though it did not make much of a difference. Saturday and Sunday came, but no period and still on tylenol for the excessive consistant cramping. Yesterday and today the cramping hasn't been so often so no tylenol. I guess my question is, is it normal to have really bad cramping? I have been told that mild cramping is normal, but mine can get strong and come and go throughout the day but are generally very constant. When I cramp I feel my stomach swell up. The pain feels as though I have a severe stomach flu but my bowl movements are normal. I am not bleeding at all, and my menstual cycles have bad cramping in general, so I don't know if that has something to do with it. Anyone experience severe cramping during first trimester of pregnancy and been told its normal? Thank you.

The earliest I was able to make an app is for this thursday and I wish I could have been seen today! I am also very paranoid about this since its my first pregnancy and cant find anyone who has experienced this and been normal. Since I found I was pregnant I decided to stop taking tylenol and just deal with the pain as best as I can. I don't have pain in a specific area so I am hoping its not an ectopic pregnancy, but the cramping makes me think I could easily MC.

I have not experienced severe cramping during pregnancy and have been told that if I do, it isn't normal. My concern is of all the tylenol you are taking for your pain. Have you made an appointment with your OB/GYN? I would do that pronto and explain to the scheduler this issue to see if you can be seen sooner. That is just the paranoia in me talking though.

All the best.
