Itchy!!!!!

Okay so for about a week now I've been extremely itchy ALL over! My boobs and stomach of course but also my arms, arm pits, back, wrists, the palms of my hands AND feet. My neck and chest. Everything itches! I've tried lotions. I've tried different body washes. I need help! Its so bad I scratch till I bleed cuz it feels so good! Should I talk to my doc about this? I have my LAST appointment today :)

It could also be caused by gallstones. That's how mine got diagnosed: crazy intense itching especially on my hands and feet. Did a blood test and showed elevated bile levels but not as high as they would be if it was liver related. Turns out I had a stone blocking my bile duct which caused the itching.  You can get your gallbladder removed soon after delivery if that is the case.

Yes. Friday isn't but two Days away but if you have it they will have to deliver you immediately.

Is it a liver disease you get during pregnancy? Every time I Google my symptoms, that's what it points to but says everything goes back to normal after delivery and I'm having my daughter Friday so if that's the case, I gotta suffer 2 more days!!

They have to do blood work. Very scary please get it checked out ASAP. Google cholestasis

I meant to talk to them bout it at last weeks appointment but just figured it was dry skin or something and that I need to increase on my lotion but nope. I hope its nothing serious :(

OMG yes talk to your doc. That doesn't sound normal. I wonder what that could be.

YES!!!!! it cOuld be caused my your liver Building up bile. Have your doctor run a blood test ASAP. It's definitely serious if you do have the condition.  Could even cause still birth if it goes untreated.  I too went through an itching phase like that & just mentioned it to my DR & when he told me it cOuld mean cholestasis & explained what that was I FREAKED. Luckily I didn't have it & the itching finally subsided.  Hoping the same for you.
