Just a couple of questions..

Well I found out on the 18th of march that i'm pregnant. I tested on the 11th of last week and the test said negative. My last period was febuary 17th and lasted 5-6 days.. i'm just wondering cause of what i was reading in some of these posts if i got pregnant last month and i twasn't really a period? I'm not sure how these things work but i tested the day before i got my period and it said negative and same as last weeks test and than when i didn't get it this week every test showed up as positive... I just don't know what to explain to the doctor. I'm really nervous/scared i just want the baby to be healthy. I have an appoitment for 8 weeks.. now do they do an ultra sound than?

Ultrasounds this early are usually given to women who are considered high risk, have abnormal bleeding or other concerns (such as multiple miscarriages or a particularly difficult pregnancy in the past). Otherwise you won't get an U/S until around week 20.

I would count Feb. 17th as your LMP and calculate your due date from there. It sounds like a regular, normal period. Especially because you didn't get a positive until recently I'm pretty certain you're probably about 4 weeks pregnant.

I put your LMP into a due date calculator, assuming you have 28 day cycles, and it says you are 4 weeks 2 days pregnatn and due November 25th. Congrats on your Thanksgiving Turkey!
