Just stopped taking BC pills

I stopped taking bc pills last Tuesday (1/11) because my husband and I would like to try to conceive. I was on the third day of the first week. I started bleeding pretty heavily yesterday and it has continued to today. Should I be worried or is this normal?

I don't know.  Getting off the pill can take some women 3 months or more to adjust back to normal.  I'd wait and see if you have another period in 28 days or so and see if your body is just trying to get back to normal.  I personally don't think it's anything to be scared about.  But, if you are worried, check with you doctor to get some reassurance.  Good luck with trying to conceive! :-)

I stopped taking the bc pills two days into the first week of a new pack. So essentially I only took two days worth of pills and then stopped. Could my body be adjusting so soon?

If you stopped in the middle of the pack, your period may be off a bit, but should get on track fairly quickly.  I stopped birth control pills at the end of the pack, so my periods picked up regularly right away.  Best of luck to you!! :-)
