Just venting...Does anyone else feel their questions are ingnored?

I read questions all day long where ladies ask if we think they could be pg, what could this be, etc. It seem like if I ask the same question with very similar situations. I am lucky if after 2hrs I even have one response. To me it doesn't seem fair. It is for this same reason that I quit coming to this site a yr ago. I enjoy hearing what people have to say and hearing peoples experiences. Sometimes it's just nice to have a sounding board to run things by when you don't feel like talking about them to someone you are related to. I am married to a wonderful man, but he doesn't really want to hear about what I am dealing with all the time.
I am not trying to pin point anyone I am just expressing my own observences and experiences.

Posts do get buried quickly, as JR pointed out.  Bump it up occasionally, or add another comment to it so it comes back up to the top.

Some questions are bypassed and there are a handfull of us who try to stay on top of those and answer. Some of them, however, are questions that we just simply cannot answer. Other times, the forum is not busy. The best thing to do is build relationships with people here and not solely rely on the forum itself. Message people who've made an impact on you, leave notes for people when you hear they're having a bad day, etc., etc.

Those people, who are your friends, will see your post and make more of an effort to answer than if they don't know who you are. Often times people come and go soooo quickly on here and never respond after people answer their question that some people get tired of investing the time to answer if they don't know someone. We all just have to make an effort to answer and to get answers. Remember to also bump your post up if it gets buried quickly.

I know that most of the time I wont comment on a post I dont know how to respond to. As for "am I pregnant" posts I dont really respond to those since the only answer that can ever be given is take a test. At one time (I'm not sure if it is still up) its says before posting if you are wondering if you are pregnant to read an article that they have already typed up. I get frustrated when I see the whole bored filled with the same question, phrased differently by a lot of people.

I feel like that all the time still. Sometimes I get a good response. I think it all depends on timing. If its a time where not a lot of people are on then it gets pushed fast the first page...then most likely it won't get read. I sometimes feel desperate and think that those posts are the ones that never get answered. Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. Or if you ask a question and not a lot of people know the answer you may not get the response you were hoping for...Just gotta remind ourselves that people do not live on this forum and aren't just here to help every person that has a question. But all in all, I know what you mean

PS I think it helps if you use a pretty catching title on your post lol.

I sometimes feel like that too!  But I try to get through everyone's posts, and I have two little ditractions running around playing with my computer while i'm on it, and then everything get's bumped around on the board.  I lose track!

I try to post on everything, but then sometimes there is somethings that I just have no clue about, and leave it at that.
