My doctor told me I could get a stent in so they would pass easier, but the irritation to the bladder and the risk of infection would make it not worth it since I'm already so far along. I hope my little man is prepared because he might be getting here a couple weeks before his due date. Definitely not what I wanted, but the doctor says it is best for both of us for the baby to be born if the stones stay stuck.
natural Apple juice with the 'Mother' in it helps break them up and helps you to pass them. Im not sure if it would be too bad to drink lots of apple juice while preg or after but it does work. There is the apple juice fast... Which is drinking only organic apple juice with mother in it for a week. Without other drinks or foods. And it really helps. And its natural. My friend had so many and after the week the dr checked her again and found little to none. But search about it to be sure the details for yourself. Hope this helps
I just spent 2 days in the ER due to a massive stone. Im 27 weeks. I had to have surgery and be under constant watch for preterm labor. It was the most pain I've ever experienced! Doctors said I wouldn't have been able to pass it on my own and thankfully everything turned out alright!
I have had them since 33 weeks. I'm 36 now, and the doctor says the baby is blocking them from passing. I was going to have the baby naturally, but now it is looking like induction or c-section. I have contractions when I'm in pain, and it caused a UTI at first, which really irritated my uterus, and I had to go to the hospital and get a shot to calm it down. The doctor is giving me another week to make a plan, but if the baby hasn't engaged, it sounds like a c-section is the best route for both of us.
