The best medicine for nausea and vomiting is Diclegis hands down. It's safe and effective. No harmful side effects to you or your baby. I have friends that took Zofran throughout their entire pregnancy and they're baby came out fine with no problems. I took it just a few times during my first trimester but it didn't work for me like Diclegis did.
Zofran saved my life. I will always advocate its use. After being hospitalized for dehydration, losing 30 lbs in less than two months, and throwing up over 20 times a day (thanks hyperemesis) it was the only thing that made me feel human again. I honestly don't know what I would do without it, even now at 36 weeks. All of my appointments have pointed to my son being very active and healthy, for which I am thankful.
I had extreme morning sickness during the first trimester n i was prescribed it twice the first time i took it constantly to make me feel better n then when i started feeling better i only took it when i felt was needed. Im now 30 weeks n everything with me n my baby are just fine from what i know. I say if you don't feel good take it n help yourself!
I was taking it at first but then my obgyn told me I needed to switch medications because of the side effects of zofran. I took promethazine it worked ask yur doctor about it. See if it's safe for you to use. and it works, good luck
Yeah i don't think it's worth it.. even if the risk is low..
I know !! Not meaning to scare you , but it HAS happened and its scary to even think about .
Wow that's crazy.. poor baby:(
My best friends son had to have open heart surgery at six months old due to her taking this medication. She is going thru a lawsuit right now fighting to get her baby the money he deserves. I took it too, its really scary I don'thave my twins until fFebruary. . Yet my doctor insist every thing is fine. He was also get doctor too
I took it right before my c section bc I kept throwing up n my baby is perfectly fine
