LEEP results

Okay so most of you know that I had my leep done today. It was very uncomfortable and the local anesthetic made my heart race like mad. The doctor was really surprised that I hadn't started AF as I am now 14-15 dpo. He was so sure that I ovulated and I also had 2 positive OPK's two days in a row. He said it is very uncommon that you would have 2 positives and then not ovulate but I guess it could be that way. I am going to test in a week just to see what happens but I don't have much faith in all of this anymore. Anyways, he removed well over half of my cervix. My doc is very hands on and wants you to know what to look for. After he removed the abnormal cell he showed it to me so I could see what I was dealing with. It is the grossest thing I have ever seen... Now I am just a little sore and kind of crampy, which is normal. It takes 2-3 weeks to heal so no love until then.

Thank you ladies. I have so far had no bleeding which the doc said that it should started 2 hours after the procedure yesterday and not a drop. I was sore yesterday but this morning I feel much better. AF--- I am really starting to think that ovulation either didn't happen or was seriously delayed. I am ready to see the specialist on the 26th so I can get on with this!

Ugh- so sorry! I hope you heal quickly.

After this procedure it might take longer for AF to arrive. Whenever we have trauma (surgery, illness, etc.) to our bodies AF can go AWOL sometimes. *HUGS*

I am glad everything went well for you!!! I am sorry you are having to go through this.
Can you believe I am still waiting on my results from my blood hormone test?
I had it done last Wed and they were supposed to be back today so I call the office and they were like we will leave a note with the nurse so she calls me back at almost 5pm and was like did you have your labs done the same day?? I was like duh yeah she was like well I dont have them back hMMMM I was like what the heck I am calling first thing in the morning. Sorry had to vent!

Yeah even my doc is wondering where AF went. Although for me I haven't had a real AF since January! I would be relieved just to get it (as silly as it sounds) just so I could know that my body is working correctly. I am going to test in a week and see what happens. How did your test go today?

I am so sorry that you have to go through this! I are so strong to endure all of this pain and not give up. Perhaps this surgery will help you in the months to come! I have faith that here soon you will get your bfp! I admire your strength and courage as I know that if I had been told I was pg only to later find out I had a cyst...well, I know I would be very upset. I hope you feel better and can get back to baby making soon!!!
