Well as some of you may know I had posted about my son being non stop active yesterday morning, I had gotten about 2hours of sleep only to wake up at 430 am to contractions! Yay! It was hospital time! (To those mommies that are still expecting- EAT BEFORE YOU GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!! ) I stopped and grabbed jack in the box and got to my hospital around 830ish am and was in checked in and only 1 1/2 centimeters but consistent contractions. Around 1030 my contractions got really bad and I was only dilated to a 3. Still waiting on our room I had to wait for any medicine. Around 330 with contractions that's were knocking me on my feet and bringing me to tears, we FINALLY got a room! I wanted the epidural right away, and they worked fast! I loved it- at 430 I was at a 4cenimeter 100%thinned and at 530 I was at a 5 100% thinned and bulging sack so they broke my water for me!! Well I stopped dilating after that and I was getting a fever- it reached 106 and I had gotten an infection by 730 so they have me antibiotics- but my son was becoming very stressed out and his heart rate kept dropping and raising. My fever went down to a 101 by 1230 and by 2am this morning we decided there was no waiting any longer. I pushed for an hour and a half- and my son, Parker Ryan Ortega, was born this morning at 3:28am at 6lbs 15oz and 20inches long! He's so handsome and I don't think I've ever loved someone so much in my life!!! He is in NICU for the infection but idk how long he'll be in there but he is becoming very comfy with breast feeding with the help of a nipple shield!
Thank you to the ladies that helped me and actually answered my questions! I really appreciate it and good luck to all you future mommies!
