Late period, neg hpt, really?

Question

I had my period March 1. lasted 4.5-5 days, as usual. Today is 4/8. Im late. Late enough for me to notice. So lets break it down. I'm married, and been having intercourse (obviously lol) I was suppose to start March 28, give or take a day or two. Not 11.  I'm on CD 39. The longest cycle I have had since 2005 except with my 2 pregnancies is 36 days (yes I have been keeping track that long) I took a test the day my period was "officially late" which was 3/29 FMU, negative. Took one 4/4 (1 week late) FMU, negative. I found out I was pregnant with my first son a few days after my period was due, but my second son it took about a week. I have had no unusual stress, no extra exercise, no change in anything. Only thing different, no period. I have been having on and off mild cramping for a week now. Feels like I am going to start my period, but nothing. Lots of watery cm, keep thinking AF has came on, but no. Sometimes it is thick--ish? creamy and white. Some (TMI) thick snottier discharge but not much, almost looks like a pale yellow. No itching, no burning, no infection. CP is medium and med-soft. I'm unusually sleepy (I function well going to bed at 11 and getting up at 630 for work) Headaches, pretty badly. Off and on nausea, can barely take down more than 1/2 cup of coffee in the mornings. No vomiting.Not sure what to think. I have never been *this* late for my period in 7 years. I'm not asking for someone to tell me I am or am not pregnant, just some insight. Has this happened to anyone else? Not your mom's cousin's next-door-neighbor's sister, but to you, or someone literally close to you. I know a blood test is the only thing to do at this point, but I have an appointment for a physical next week anyways, which by then I would think a hpt would be positive, but what if not? Has anyone had negative tests then a positive one after 5 weeks pregnant? Hpt not a blood test. I would be 5w4d pregnant tomorrow... Planning on taking another test on 4/12 (6 weeks pregnant, if I am pregnant) I will post updates.

I'm having the same situation my hubby and i have been TTC for 7 months. this month my period is a week late I've taken a bunch off tests atleast 6 tests and all been negative .until today i decided to take a treat and i have a light positive so i got really excited and call my doctor that sent me for a bloodtest which i just took now I'll find out tomorrow my doctor said its most likely positive..so everyone keep your heads up and baby sissy to you all TTC BEST WISHES TO ALL : )

I'm having the same situation my hubby and i have been TTC for 7 months. this month my period is a week late I've taken a bunch off tests atleast 6 tests and all been negative .until today i decided to take a treat and i have a light positive so i got really excited and call my doctor that sent me for a bloodtest which i just took now I'll find out tomorrow my doctor said its most likely positive..so everyone keep your heads up and baby sissy to you all TTC BEST WISHES TO ALL : )

Just incase anyone is still following, I ended up having a chemical pregnancy that did not last. At least that is what I was led to believe. I did start my period which was terribly heavy and painful. Best of luck to anyone else who is hoping to those 2 lines or + sign!

I am now 10 days late, mild cramping, heavier discharge, fatigue but sure enough I have done about 6 negative pregnancy tests. I have two children already and for both of them my pregnancy tests showed positive straight away plus my period has always been on time so I have no idea what it could be. I am going to wait until 14 or so days overdue then I think ill head to my doctor. My youngest is only 5 months old so Im kind of hoping its not another pregnancy. I am in the same boat right now. Did anyone find out that they were pregnant? I really need to know i'm 12 days late, net HPT and blood test and one time i had the brown discharge. I was on the pill but missed 3 at different times. I have never missed a period other than my other 3 pregnancies.

Oddly enough I am in the same boat as you including the days. I am calling the doctor tomorrow to schedule an appointment. I have never been this late except when I was pregnant. My fiance and I are really hoping and trying but it always comes back negative. :(

Update: CD 47. Went to the doctor today. Negative pregnancy test (figured). She said it was odd that I missed my period, after never missing any, ever (minus pregnancy) Instead of drawing blood she referred me to an OB-GYN. I am going tomorrow to set up the appointment and fill out the new patient information packet, and hopefully get some kind of answer... soon. 
I will add, she was astonished that I keep such details of my cycle. I note my CM, dates of AF, etc. Something everyone should think about doing, even if not ttc. Never know when that might come in handy.... :D
I will post another update after I visit the OB-GYN.

Yet another update, CD 43 today and omg am I moody. Dude at work was making me so upset, over nothing really, that I wanted to scream.
No af. No cramps. Watery cm. Kept thinking "omg af is here bathroom bathroom bathroom" to find nothing. Not even the brown cm anymore.
Breasts are heavy, my bra was really uncomfortable today. I am really bloated. I have a doctors appointment Monday (which would be cd 47. If af doesnt show I am going to demand a blood test. I plan on going to the dollar store tomorrow and getting a few of those cheap tests (I am tired of spending 4.50 each lol) Will take, and post results. 
I feel pregnant, but the tests are telling me I am not, which is irritating as all get out. Was talking with someone today who is about 6 1/2 months pregnant and she said that she took hpts up until she was 20 weeks.... the day they told her what her baby's gender was, she got a negative. 
I totally hope Thats the boat I am in, and for some reason I just cant get the hcg in my urine.... will be back with more updates!!!

Okay just an update. I am on cd 42 now. Technically 14 days or so late. I got up this morning and had a little bit of brown when I went to the bathroom. I know that brown = old blood so even though I really hope I am truly pregnant, I REALLY just want something to happen, either a BFP or AF to show up. Either way is fine. I don't like not knowing... Brown could mean pregnancy still, So I am not stressed. Old blood is not the same as AF being here. I will post more when I know!

i am in the same boat as you except the marriage and all that lol. i am now 5 days late and never been late or missed a period since i was on birth control 5 years ago...I have cramps but just light not like im fixing to start or anything all the tests i have taken have been neg. We have been TTC for 9 months now intercourse almost everday the past few months. Ive had spotting and a lil discharge i just want a test to come back positve or start already im tired of not knowing hope everything works out for you.

I personally think that anything that is different as your normal period, especially if it is just spotting, could be a sign of implantation. Brown blood means older blood so it could just now be reaching your vagina from your uterus/cervix from days ago. I would wait a week and test again. Thursday will be my 2nd week late, 6weeks from my LMP. I'm excited and nervous about testing again.

kinda in the same boat i usually get my period lik clock work starts on the 5th ens on the 10th thi time i got my period on te 4th and i was just bown spotting then thenxt day was kinda a mixture filled one whole tampn (sorry so detailed)  then it stopped now its back to a brown spotting took a test it was neg should i just take this as my period or retest

Another day. No period. No cramps. Breasts heavy still. Exhausted, could fall asleep now (8pm) but I know I would be up at 4am and I have to work tomorrow. Going to take a test on Thursday AM. Will post updates. I know I cant be the only person whose period is this late with negative tests til now. Doc appt is still on for monday, unless af shows up, I am dying for a blood test. If it isnt pregnancy, idk what it is. Have read so many posts on this happening, then no outcome listed.

This happened to me. My last period was August 21 and i conceived Sept 4 (which i didnt know) i missed my period Sept 20th i was having lots of fatiges and my breast were turning darker i was getting cramps i thought my period was going to start 4days passed and nothing took a test and it was negative 1 week later another test and negative. I found out Nov i was really pregnant so it took me a while.

Oh and I wanted to add, My breasts feel okay, not sore, just heavy. I ALWAYS have cramping the day before my period, to the point that I need to take Tylenol, but none of that yet. Just very mild cramping, almost like pressure.
