Late period, negative test.

So my cycles tend to be 31-33 days in legnth. I keep through track
of when my next period should arrive. My husband and I had unprotected
sex on my day of ovulation (Sept. 12) around midnight. I was due to get my period on the 27th of Sept., it would have have been a 32 day cycle.
However, my period never came. I took a at home pregnancy test on the 30th which by then I was 4 days late. If I am pregnant I would have been 2 weeks and 4 days on the 30th. The pregnancy test was negative. As of today Oct 2, I am 6 days late. I've had a nagging backache and some fatigue. I've also been (oddly) able to literally feel my uterus, it feels heavy. Did I test too soon before there wasn't enough hormone?

Thanks- will do. We're just so hopeful. We've been trying for a year now and had a chemical pregnancy back in April.

Yes, it is a little early to test. I was 2.5 weeks late when i tested and got a positive. Give it a little more time before you test again. If you are pregnant, your HCG levels may not be high enough to detect yet. Good luck! :)
