Doctors have told me that they've decided to start inducing me today with the pessary tablet! My only question is if it hurts inserting it cos obviously my cervix is quite far back so she's gonna have to go in quite deep !

It may just hurt because if your cervix is up too high, sometimes it hurts trying to get to it, but go in there confident and with a good attitude that you can get through it, and you'll be fine! :)
