No problem! It's not too bad giving yourself the injections. The first few are horrible. I've been on them since October and it's just one of those regular day things now. It gets better.
Thanks Amber, I will remember that. And I will keep you in my prayers I hope all goes well for you.
I have had 4 pregnancies including this one. All ended in miscarriage. Was on lovenox with 1st one for about a week then lost baby. Was on it for this last one for 20days and dr took me off of it at my 61/2 week ultrasound because all he could see is gestational sac and he believes I'm going to miscarry (I hope he is wrong he is going to let me do another one at 71/2 weeks) it's not the worse thing to go through.. There well worth it if they help you and baby! Hope all goes well with you and just remember it's all worth it!
I was told I will be switched to heparin at 36 weeks. But giving myself the injection *****. Thanks for responding, I hope your pregnancy goes well.
Aren't the most pleasant thing*
I'm on them now due to previous blood clots from breakng my ankle last July and have been since 5 weeks. They are continuing me on blood thinners until 6 weeks after birth but my doctor is considering switching me to heparin because it leaves your system quicker and when I go into labor I can get the epidural if I wish. The shots are easy to give to yourself, they are the most pleasant thing but it's the best thing for me and my baby girl.
