MMR and Pregnancy

Me and my husband were trying for 3 yrs.  Went to the fertility specialist , he took all tests and told me to take ruebella shot , so i took MMR on feb 22nd , and now i am 2 days late.  If i am pregnant will i have any chance to have a normal baby?  I am confused after reading all the forums.  Any one had the same situation?

Thank you, Melissa!!!!
Your link is little comforting to me.  Today is the third day, still the  HPT is negative.
No symptoms of pregnancy yet...i guess.
Except the nipples sore and left side of the lower abdomen ache.
Fingers crossed ....

1st I would suggest doing a HPT with 1st morning urine to determine if u r in fact pregnant. If that comes back negative then I'd wait a week & try again or head to ur dr or clinic for a blood beta test which will let u know for sure either way.

When I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter I was told I wasn't immune to rubella anymore & needed the MMR shot done, but had to wait until after delivery because it wasn't safe to have it while pregnant.  So within 12 hours of me giving birth to her I was given the MMR & was fine.  I've actually had a lot of friends go through that as well.

Doing a quick google search I found this page.. hope the link actually works & the info can be of some help for u: http://miscarriage.about.com/od/infections/f/mmrpregnancy.htm

if for whatever reason it doesn't post the link I will inbox it to you & hopefully that will work instead.

Good luck & after getting tested PLEASE post an update.
