MONSTER TRUCK NATIONALS--DEATH!!!!

This is really off topic, but i was wondering if anyone has heard of this! first a lil boy was impailed with a paice of metal and died and then 8 days later the sponsor was ran over by one of the trucks.......my concern is that i just bought tickets (last night) to take my son to see the monster truck nationals show tonight and just heard about this a few minutes ago....this really freaks me out!!!!!!!

we were in the second row.......we all had a good time tonight.....my lil boy (2 yrs.) was still talking about it when he fell asleep!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, the boy that died from being hit by the pieece of the truck, which was a huge truck, was here in Tacoma.  Sad, I went to that the next day!  As long as your not close i'd say your good!  I mean like first 50 rows!!!!

I think you'll be safe. Of course if you still don't want to go it's always your choice. Are you talking about the Nations in Las Vegas, or just in your city?

We go every year to the Monster Jam in Phoenix, and the stadium holds roughly 90,000 fans and it is typically 85-97% full. We have never had any problems with the safety of the event.

The owner was ran over by his own truck, but I'm positive that they ruled his death his own fault because he wasn't following all the safety regulations.

As for the little boy I have no idea the circumstances surrounding it. I think there is a larger possibilty of taking your son to a baseball game and getting hit in the head with a flying ball or a broken bat.

There is danger in everything, but in the grand skeem of things the percentages are pretty low for fans getting injured.
