My biggest complain currently is that some of my information on my Ovulation tracker has been deleted, and I can't re-enter it. I already emailed MH for assistance. I was pretty peeved at my DH over the weekend (see my journal), but things are better now. I just wish I wasn't back to work and having a cold.
And my "vent" is typical for me. Just another HUGE "situation.."
I found out over the weekend that my landlord is on an interest only mortgage. In our current economic situation, he is about to lose the house likely on March 1, 2009 (that is when he is due to switch to principal and interest). K (baby's Father, on again off again bf) was due to move in Dec. 1. Now we are at a loss on what to do. We are looking for another place, but we live in an incredibly expensive demographic, and he is thinking maybe we should just move island where he could afford to buy a small starter home.. And he would let me "tag along" because of we are having a child. He has made it pretty clear a relationship between him and I will never work and he is not interested in trying..
I am 7 months pregnant and hate my job.. BUT my health insurance is through work. This was what I have been dealing with all weekend. I am beyond stressed. Then, to top it off.. My niece and my roomie (well ex roomie she moved out Saturday) knew how awful my baby shower was and they were planning a redemption dinner party w. a few friends that couldnt make it to the original shower.. Well, they planned this before my roomie moved, before we found out about our housing situation, etc.. and I was due to go to Boston this weekend for a conference, this make up dinner party was planned for this weekend and my MOM is flying in from Florida on Thursday.. Obviously they had to tell me so I didn't go to the conference and miss my own party.. Soooooo nice of them but what awful timing.. I need a nap and I so want to go home.. PS- my work day just started 30 minutes ago.. Ugh.
i am tired of posting things on this forum and only two or three people respond this pisses me off when i see everone else get a lot of reposnse. it's normally the same group of people who get all of the reponses. that *****. it must be a clque type of thing on this forum. i have been a member for over a year and when i post the sema people post to mine. like maybe two or three people who are under my frined list. just venting ladies. i am really moody this morning. and no it's not a i think i'm preggers questions either.
Laura- Take a deep breath, you are having baby-shower bad luck :( that su-cks! I would go to your baby shower if I was up there. Baby-daddy issues well, look at it on the bright side, at least he's willing to be there for you and baby during this relocation issue. And you can always go on your state's health insurance if you have to leave your job, and it may be better. This move might be the turning point for you, you never know. don't be scared of change. It would be nice if you could buy your current house from your landlord, that way you keep your job and baby-daddy can help you out too to buy it. Maybe that's a possibility?
Honey1982- I haven't gotten to your post yet, but I completely understand and agree. I think it happens to all of us that people don't respond. Sometimes, we just don't know what to say...
So my vent..I think I O'd last night and I definitely bd'd a lot this weekend :) Anyway I'm wondering about caffeine and conception if it affects it by much. That has me a little stressed out this morning because I had more than usual. And I'm sooo looking forward to election results tomorrow!
Soooo..... I wanted to tell you that, most guys change when they see their baby! About 95% of people who aren't together usually get together shortly after the delivery because their in aww over the baby and realize how much they really love each other! You never know though. Although, I am glad he is wanting to get a starter house for you, him and your guys baby! That's very thoughtful! Especially that he wants to help you! Also, I am sorry about the housing situation all together...And the fact that your mom in coming in when your suppose to fly out!!! I hope your day gets better!
Honey1982- I read all your threads, I just can never find the words to say! I try to comment on everyone, and when I don't have words....I just get stuck!!
Girls, about Menu Monday...I ate this weekend Grilled Mac & Cheese, I know its weird but it was sooo good, tons of cheese, I love cheese! I will try to find the recipe.
And Pad-tai spicy, I'm on a spicy kick too.
My MANIC MONDAY complaint is................ stupid bills! Mine went up and I'm just frustrated and annoyed. We're on "level payment" so you pay your average bill payment instead of $300 one month and $26 another. The problem is THEY made an error with our level payment and they had to more than double the bill to compensate for the energy consumption they didn't take into consideration.
Wish I could just go over there and do their work for them since it'd probably get done RIGHT then.
MONEY! lol I can't ever seem to have enough of it. As soon as I get paid it seems to disappear! I have to pay my major bills with the check I get wednesday. I will have around 200$ after that for the next 2 weeks. My 3rd anniversary is on the 11th..I don't know what to get DB. I know I'm not getting jack because he doesn't have money either..I think were going out to dinner, which I will probably pay for..but other then that its not going to be a very special night :(.. I'm sad about that.. How can I make the day more special? We both have to work and he won't be home until almost 7..maybe I can make him dinner...But I don't know..I wanted to try out this recipe that seems pretty darn simple, but I don't know.
What can I do that's inexpensive but nice for an anniversary?
If the weather is nice where you live - it has been nice here - maybe a picnic at a park that is close? DH and I do that sometimes and then we take a small hike/walk on one of the trails. You could pack something as simple as fried chicken and potato salad and then have strawberries dipped in chocolate (my fave) for desert. Or you could do sandwiches. Just an idea ... BTW I am 35 + weeks preggo and now I just made myself want strawberries and chocolate and fried chicken and potato salad - enough about food.
My complaint for the week: I am tired of work! I am 35 weeks + pregnant and I still have roughly 3 more weeks until my maternity leave starts. I could take it early, but I would rather take more after Landen comes to spend more time with him. I just get so tired in the evenings - All i can do is go to work and come home and rest. Also I am ready for this whole election thing be over with. I am tired of hearing about it and just want it to be done already so we can know the results.
I am done complaining now!
BTW Grilled mac n cheese sounds good - find that recipe girl and post it! I am preggo and want it now! LOL
No complaints here other than the fact I want an ultrasound when I go to the doctor's on Thursday but I'm scheduled just for the doppler to hear the hb and I have an ultrasound scheduled in 2 more weeks when I'll be 18+w...Not really a complaint...just impatient =)
I feel bad for honey...I haven't been on much lately...I didn't notice her post but I wish I did...I don't want anyone feeling bad! Who knows, I might not have even had an answer lol Usually that is the reason I don't post if I do see a question and I don't answer...anyways...
I can't wait for the election to be done and over with...Yay for tomorrow!
Jame0223- You could make him dinner, use candles during dinner :) and rent a movie and cuddle on the couch! Give him a card or so! That's what my husband and I did this year! Of cour my anniversary falls between valetines day and my birthday LOL
