Menstrual cramps, no periods & negative preg. test

Hi,

Im 24 and not on any birth control pills. I usually have very regular periods(30 days) and not once have I missed this in the last 11 years. I had my last period on 7th june and then in a weeks time I travelled to the US. My life has def been less stressful as Im currently not working(infact I hv not been working only since I came to the US). I had cramps similar to my menstrual cramps when I was due for my last period and since then Ive been having such cramps on and off. It has been 60 days since I got my  last period. I had my blood test done last week and it came out negative. What could possibly be happening with me? Do missed periods for various resons get accompanied with cramps?

Hello,
I have a 10mo old daughter, and my periods have been like clock work since then. I had some spotting in march (25th) then missed my period in April. I have had 3 negative home tests and 1 neg blood test. Is there a place that I can just go get an ultrasound! My OB said I have to have a pos preg test first. Please help!

Hi! I need some advice. I haven't gotten my period for 5months. I went to the doctor 5months back for the same reason. I was a year WITHOUT my period and her give me some pills to take and 3days later I got my period. I have regular periods then as I got older then become irregular but, my period never stop until the summer of 2007. I was wondering can women that doesn't have her period have kids?

I was getting confused on when my period actually started.  Did it start when I started seeing brown spotting or did it start when I saw the bright red blood?  I called my GYNO and spoke to the nurse.  She said your period starts when you see the brownish spotting.  This is considered the start of your period.

My last period started on August 5th.  On August 31st in the afternoon, I noticed brown spotting.  This brown spotting has been very light.  As of September 4th, I am still experiencing this light brownish spotting.  My breasts are bigger and tender.  I have experienced no bright red blood or spotting.  I seem to be hungrier but I think it might have to do with the fact I am working out more.  My periods have been averaging a 30-31 day cycle.  Which means my period should've started on September 3rd.  Could I be pregnant?  Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

The cramping could mean many things, some of which you might find scary (cysts, fibroids, endormetriosis) but are actually treatable. Go back to your doctor and ask for more extensive testing to see if there is something going on. They'll need to do blood work and probably an ultrasound.

There are many reasons to miss a period, but as far as whether the cramping is normal or not, I'm not sure!
