Metallic taste that won't go away...why?

Hello, two days ago I started to get a metallic taste in my mouth under my tongue mostly. Even my bf can sometimes taste it. It taste like a battery or a coin in my mouth. It doesn't go away with brushing, drinking makes the taste worse...no matter what it is. Food gets rid of the taste for about half an hour. Do you know what it could be? I've also been extremely tired... I get a good 8 to 10 hours sleep but after being awake for afew hours my eyes get sore and I just sank crawl into bed. My last period was on the 14th of Jan. Well I just done a test and it came back positive.

It could be a cavity, dehydration, pregnancy or even a stroke. But clearly not a stroke or you would know it. But the battery taste thing is common in people currently having a stroke this isn't what's going on with you or you would know i would take a pregnancy test if negative maybe go see your dentist

No it could mean you have a cavity that needs to be filled.

Yes we have been trying for a baby for about 8 months. I've never had those silver cavities so it can't be them. The taste is so bloody annoying.... It's all I taste. I brushed my teeth three times yesterday and mouth washed and bout am hour later when the mint taste wore off the metallic taste was back....yuk!!!

Could be a cavity. If you are thinking you might be pregnant than wait until your period is due and take a test.

Are you trying for a baby?

This is the very first symptom i had of my pregnancy which i was around 3-5 weeks pregnant, as when i had my dating scan i was 4 weeks and it started around a week before the scan.

It may be a symptom of pregnancy. But other than pregnancy i have no idea what else it could be. Unless it is a hygene problem.
